Greg Biberstein, MD
Dr. Biberstein joined Pediatric Associates in 1988 after completing his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. He is a clinical instructor in pediatrics for the Kansas University Medical Center, he has instructed numerous third and fourth-year medical students in their pediatric rotation. He is a past president of the Riley County Medical Society and past president of the Medical Staff at Mercy Regional Health Center. Dr. Biberstein and his wife, Denise have 3 adult children. They are avid cyclists and Dr. Biberstein loves to ski. They like to travel, particularly visiting their children, who are spread across the U.S.
Mark Duff, MD
Dr. Duff received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City and joined Pediatric Associates in 1995. Dr. Duff and his wife, Annette, have raised their 4 children here in Manhattan. Three are KSU grads and one got away to KU! Outside of work, Dr. Duff enjoys tennis, reading and serving at his church.
jason Gallagher, MD
Dr. Gallagher graduated from Manhattan High School and Kansas State University. He received his MD degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He joined Pediatric Associates in 2000. Dr. Gallagher and his wife have a two sons and two daughters. Dr. Gallagher is proud to be a local boy, working with families in his hometown.
rebecca Klingler, MD
Dr. Klingler graduated from Manhattan High and KSU. She was employed at KSU and by the Kansas Dept. of Commerce before completing her medical training at the KU School of Medicine in Wichita. She also completed her pediatric residency while in Wichita. She joined Pediatric Associates in July 2006.
Kate Dove, DO
Dr. Dove received her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City and completed her medical training at Kansas University of Medicine and Bio-Sciences in May 2005. Dr. Dove completed her residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, graduating in June 2008. She joined Pediatric Associates in 2008. She grew up in Wichita, KS and is married with two children. She loves the sense of community and kindness of those in Manhattan. She enjoys reading, watching crime dramas with her husband, gardening and decorating.
LOUIS Meng, md
Dr. Meng joined Pediatric Associates in December of 2013, after working as an Army Pediatrician at Fort Riley for 9 years. His residency training was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, and he received his MD in 2001 from Creighton University. Dr. Meng grew up on a farm in Waterloo, KS and met his wife in college at Missouri State University. The Mengs have lived in Manhattan since 2004 and have 3 sons.
Tricia Bell, MD
Dr. Bell joined Pediatric Associates in November 2018 after assistant professor positions at both Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas and Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. She received her MD from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Illinois and completed her residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital with the University of Louisville. She spent 4 years in the Pediatric Emergency Department in San Antonio, TX until the military moved Dr. Bell and her family to Manhattan in 2015. They enjoyed Manhattan so much they decided to stay and put down roots! Dr. Bell has 3 boys who keep her busy with sports & activities and an ever-growing grocery list. Dr. Bell enjoys reading & book clubs, and is always up for discussing Hamilton or the Enneagram.
sonder crane, MD
Dr. Crane is a Manhattan native and received her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University. She completed her medical training at the University of Kansas Medical School in Wichita and her residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, graduating in 2012. She practiced at Children’s Mercy West Clinic from 2012 – 2021 and served both as a Pediatrician and Certified Lactation Consultant after obtaining her IBCLC in 2013. She joined Pediatric Associates in July 2021. She has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the Kansas chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys making music with her husband and children, reading, cooking, party planning, and theater.
Matt Wassom, PHD
Dr. Wassom joined Pediatric Associates in January 2024 after 9 years as Clinical Director/Child and Adolescent Psychologist at Katie’s Way. Dr. Wassom moved to Manhattan in 2015 after previously working as a Pediatric Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Mercy - Kansas City. Dr. Wassom received his PHD in Clinical Psychology, Health and Rehabilitation Specialty, at the University of Kansas. He then completed his internship and fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Children’s Mercy-Kansas City. Dr. Wassom considers Manhattan like his hometown, after attending Kansas State University for his undergraduate degree and having generations of family living in or around Manhattan. Dr. Wassom and his wife have two sons and a daughter, and they stay busy outside of work with their activities. He also enjoys the outdoors, hiking/climbing, coaching soccer, enjoying sports, and traveling.
MaLlory Shuler, LPC
Mallory joined Pediatric Associates in April 2024. Mallory completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Baker University. She received her graduate degree in mental health counseling at Oklahoma State University and trained in the Child Trauma Services program at the University of Oklahoma Child Study Center. Mallory moved to Manhattan and joined Pediatric Associates in 2024. She loves to watch sports, hang out with friends and family, and SCUBA dive when she has the chance.
Micheal Garza, PHD
Dr. Garza joined Pediatric Associates in April 2024. Dr. Garza received his bachelors and master’s from California State University, Fresno. He received his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. He did his internship at Kaiser Permanente in Fresno, California. He joined Pediatric Associates in 2024. Dr. Garza and his wife have a 1 son and 1 daughter. Outside of work, Dr. Garza enjoys reading, traveling with his wife and children.
Jason Kastner
Dr. Kastner joined Pediatric Associates of Manhattan in October of 2024 after a 22 year private practice career just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. He and his wife Marti are both graduates of Manhattan High School and married in 1995. Dr. Kastner received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas. From there, he and his wife moved to Nashville where he completed his residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and served as Chief Resident. After more than two decades as a community pediatrician in the city of Gallatin and surrounding areas, they felt the call back to their roots in Manhattan. Jason and Marti have two amazing adult daughters--Nashville natives who love the Little Apple too. Dr. Kastner loves time with family, good food, travel, medical mission work, Star Wars stuff, college sports and World Cup soccer. He's glad to be a part of the practice he grew up in and that inspired him to become a pediatrician!
