Pediatric Associates is VERY excited to announce we are starting TELEMEDICINE via Anytime Pediatrics!

What is telemedicine? An easier way to connect with your pediatrician. During the COVID pandemic, we want to continue to provide quality care to our patients and families. We are doing our utmost to balance access to care with reducing exposure risk. Telemedicine allows your child to see your pediatrician with your medical concerns/questions from the comfort of your own phone

How does it work?

We log into our computer and you log into the Anytime Pediatrics app via your home computer or iOs or Android phone. Every patient will need to register at anytimepediatrics.com and enter our 4 digit practice code: 9030

 
 

FAQs

What kind of visits can I do via telemedicine?

Obviously there are limits to telemedicine since we cannot perform a hands-on physical exam. But there are SOME cases when telemedicine can really come in handy! Skin rashes, Pink eye, Feeding Problems, Colds, Constipation, Concern for Dehydration, Allergies, Behavioral Concerns and Medication Checks are all good candidates for telemedicine visits. Well visits still need to be done in the office. Not sure if your complaint fits? Call the office and we’ll help you decide!

How do I prepare for a telemedicine visit?

There are some very helpful things you can do to prepare for your telemedicine visit! 

  • Weigh your child, this helps us to dose medication accurately

  • Know all of your child’s medications

If your child is sick:

  • Check your child’s temperature

  • Check your child’s heart rate or by counting their pulse for 1 minute

How much is telemedicine visit?

Most insurances are paying for these visits. You may be responsible for your usual copay. 

How do I schedule?

Telemedicine visits are for patients already established with Pediatric Associates. We are scheduling all telemedicine visits through our office, so call to make a telemedicine appointment. We will also need you to preregister by downloading the Anytime Pediatrics app and assigning yourself to us with group code 9030.

When is it starting?

We hope to be up and running by the week of March 30th. You can pre-register your kids starting today by downloading the Anytime Pediatrics app on iOS/Android phone and entering our practice code 9030.
