New Patient

Pediatric Associates welcomes new patients. On the day of your child’s first visit to our office, we recommend arriving a few minutes early. This allows extra time for finishing up any registration forms and ensures you have plenty of time to get acquainted with our staff and office. We look forward to meeting you and joining with you to help your child maintain optimal health. Please bring your child's immunization records and be prepared to complete paperwork regarding your family medical history, your child's medical history, and insurance information. Call us at 785.537.9030 to set up your appointment.

BILLING AND INSURANCE

Please call us for information specific to your insurance company and plan, simply ask for our Financial Coordinator.

We are contracting providers with all of the Blue Shield plans, Preferred Health Care, Century Health Solutions, Coventry Health, FirstHealth, Health Partners of Kansas, WPPA, Kansas Medicaid, and KanCare Sunflower State Health Plan. Insurance claims are automatically filed with all companies if you have given us a copy of the card.  Each child's insurance information is kept separately so it is necessary for us to scan your card for each child’s file. Individual plans change frequently, so it is necessary for us to verify your coverage at each visit.

To help lower health care costs, we request payment for medical services at the time of your visit unless you have made prior arrangements with our business office. We do accept MasterCard, VISA and Discover Cards if you prefer this method of payment. If your insurance company will be paying a portion of your charges, please be prepared to pay your portion the day of your visit. If you need to arrange for a monthly payment plan, you should contact our Credit Department.

Please read your insurance policy carefully or check with your insurance agent or employer regarding benefits. You will be responsible for payment of any claims which have not been resolved within sixty days. Your health insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company and you should contact your carrier if you have complaints or problems in settlement of a claim.

By contractual agreement with most insurance companies, we have age limitations on our patient group. Although, we hate to lose them, at age nineteen our patients are asked to choose a physicians who cares for adults.
